The Livestock, Poultry and Seed Program is very active in market information reporting around the world. Export grain prices are reported in the Texas Gulf; Portland, Oregon; Norfolk, Virginia; and Duluth, Minnesota. The LPS Program reports on U.S. beef and pork wholesale and retail prices in Japan, as well as U.S. competitor prices. Additionally, the U.S., Mexico, and Canada exchange prices for cattle, eggs, grains, hogs, poultry, sheep, and information on livestock slaughtered, and the volume and number of livestock which are traded between the countries.
