Dairy Programs participates in international programs and services to assist in the marketing of dairy products worldwide.

The Codex Committee on Milk and Milk Products is responsible for establishing international codes and standards for milk and milk products. This committee adjourned 2010, however in July 2013 the Milk Committee was reestablished via an electronic Working Group (eWG) to study the possibility of developing standards for processed cheese.
