As the Vice President of Grocery of MOM’s Organic Market, Lisa de Lima has been a driving force behind the growth and development of MOM’s independent chain of organic grocery stores. During her 16-year tenure at MOM’s, Lisa has gained expertise in organizational strategy, customer outreach, staff education, category management, merchandising and pricing strategies. Lisa spearheads and oversees the implementation of various progressive environmental initiatives, facilitating MOM’s unique Purpose, "to protect and restore the environment." Such initiatives include: MOM’s Sustainable Seafood Program, in which MOM's became the first store in the country to stock only sustainable seafood, and "Plastic Surgery," a comprehensive campaign to eliminate the sale of bottled water and unnecessary plastic waste throughout all MOM's stores.

 
As VP of Grocery at MOM’s, Lisa is at the forefront of communication with manufacturers, customers and employees working to promote the production and sale of organic foods. In her current role, Lisa continues to develop, update and refine MOM’s ingredient standards and sourcing policies.

 
Lisa earned her BS from University of Vermont in Environmental Studies and Political Science, and her MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
